When we first opened in 1987, this cozy little room was known simply as "The Yellow Room". After it was given a new look, we thought it needed a new name to match. When our friend suggested Flora MacDonald, we'd never heard of her - despite her being rather famous for helping the rebellious Bonnie Prince Charlie escape capture by his enemies. But suddenly we began seeing her everywhere, from our local Highland Festival, to books our friends owned. A portrait of her even hung in an estate we toured in Australia. It seemed Ms. MacDonald was asking to be included, and so the name was settled. The Flora is located on the second floor, features a Queen and a Twin bed, a private bath (shower only), fire place, air conditioning, cable TV, and wireless internet.
